One morning I happened to be reading my monthly installment of
Popular Photography, the September issue to be exact which
I had received in August.

As I was reading one article on how this one contributor had posted
a candid shot of an elderly woman from outside of her window and
the look on her face was somewhat compelling. As I turned the page
and read on, it mentioned the name of the lady in the photo as that
of Julie Newmar of the 60’s Batman series.

At the same time,in the same room as I’m in,
my wife was catching City News out of Toronto
on tv and at one point, while I was on the following page of my
magazine, the reporter was commenting on an upcoming comic book
and memorabilia convention in Toronto the upcoming weekend and
mentioned that a few celebs from the day would be in attendance…
the one name mentioned that caught my attention was none other
than Julie Newmar of the hit series Batman.

I flipped the page and showed it to my wife…she just shrugged
thinking little of it…but I for some reason thought it odd that
a somewhat obscure person would be mentioned like this in a simultaneous time span.

Now I could understand if it were Jennifer Aniston that I was
reading about and then hear her name mentioned on the news…
But Julie Newmar?

I thought it was interesting enough to pass along.

i work in the deli department in my local supermarket. one night a lady came in and ordered some small goods i noticed that she looked very tired and asked if she had a big day, she replied that she had been crying i asked if she was ok, she began to tell me that she just met the lady that comforted her daughter while she passed away 3 years ago on the side of the road, by sheer chance as this person broke down and sent her youngest daughter to the nearest house to ask to make a phone call the lady that lost her daughter lived there and came out to see if there was anything else she could do and realised who she was, i believe they had a long discussion about that night, i was dumb founded by this ladies story the next day at work a new lady had started we had our first shift together she had started a week earlier but our shifts didnt line up we were the only people in the department i proceeded to tell her out the story that i had heard, she began to shake and look worried. it turns out she was the one that held that ladies daughter while she passed away.

Just stumbled across the site and thought it was pretty cool. I have a few stories about numbers that are either just extreme cases of pure coincidence, or just things that can’t be explained.

Coin. 1— In 1994, when I was 14, and in the 9th grade, I was in class (can’t remember which,) and we were taking a test using scantron sheets (the sheets were for 1–50 questions, and were multiple coice A,B,C,D,or E.) I had slacked off the entire class and didn’t even bother to answer any of fifty questions, until the teacher said that time was almost up, and for us to hurry up and finish. I panicked, and just started randomly circling answers for each of the fifty questions. I knew I was screwed and was going to fail, so i just turned it in and left. The next day, when I went into class, my teacher pulled me aside and asked to speak to me. I was like “oh god im in trouble…” I couldn’t believe what she told me. “Man, Jason I guess ur the only one that even studied for this test, cuz ur the only one that got a 100% correct! good job!” I was shocked, and just said, “uh yea I studied like crazy!,” trying my best not to laugh. To this day, when I tell ppl that, noone believes me,but its true. wierd huh?

Coin. 2— This one is even more strange. PPL say that everyone has a number, and well they aren’t kidding, cuz mine is apparently 10:13. This number has been following me for going on ten years now, and IDK what it means, but it don’t feel evil or bad or anything, just don’t know what it means. Me and my friend concluded that its when i STOP seeing it is when i should worry lol. When I was younger, 13 was always my lucky number, but for like 8 years now, i started seeing 1013 everyday. Here’s just a FEW examples:

-When I was younger, my dad let me pick the numbers for the football pots we always betted on. I picked 13,13. He was pissed and said, “naw man thats bad luck!” but i told him trust me lol. we ended up winning $1,300 and the score for both teams was 13–13.

-I was kind born from 10:13. My dad was born In 1949, that’s 1013 (1+9=10,4+9=13)

-I was born at 10:01 PM. 1 in military time,1 is 13, or 1300 hours (lol I know that one is a stretch but still funny.)

-The First time I finally got with this girl that I really liked for a long time was on Oct. 13th 2005(I didn’t even realize it til a few days later.)

-I just happened to get my first record deal on Oct. 13th 2007.

-The Movie, “The number 23” creeped me the hell out cuz it reminded me of my situation (he even mentions 10:13 twice in the movie, and just to let ya know 10+13 is 23 lol.)

- Usually on the 13th of every month, something notable/intersting happens to me.

-Me and my friends had just left the theatre after watching “Final Destination 2”, and I was telling him about 10:13, and he didn’t belive anything I was saying about it. We stopped to get gas, and as he pumped gas, I continued trying to explain it to him. suddenly he said, “Oh Shxt! I just happened to glance over at the numbers on the pump as they were spinning rapidly and the first numbers I saw were 10:13!” As soon as he said that, the guy on the radio in the car said “It’s now 10:13 PM” and the station was set to 101.3. As we stood there shocked, my friends wife walked up and said, “The lady in front of me’s total was $10.13. I started smiling and asked them, “Do U believe me now?” lol.

-In 2001, I took a joke test/game called “when your going to die” or something like that and mine said in 2013.

- The studio where I record is called 1013 Productions Studios (I had never told the owner about my 1013 thing and asked him why on earth he named it that. He said that he didn’t know why really. I was like WTF?

-One night, while driving alone to Dallas to go do a show, I then noticed that I hadn’t seen 10:13 yet that day, and kinda got worried. I jokingly said out loud, ” I havn’t seen 10:13 in a while,” and I shxt u not, as soon as I said that I looked up and saw 10:13 on a passing billboard. I threw my hands up and was like, “whoa, ok, my bad.”

The examples go on and on, but Ive written a novel here already lol so I guess I’ll stop now, but I just wanted to share that with yall, and I hope Y’all enjoyed it. I know alot if not all of it sounds too good to be true, but I SWEAR it’s the truth. I honestly love 10:13 now and feel comfort in it because nothing bad has ever came from it, but actually good. My last question to you is: What’s YOUR Number??? **One last thing- I know alot of u may read this and say “Man thats just power of suggestion” but think about this, I know for a fact that I had never seen 10:13 before all of this, and 2, if it was merely just a case of power of suggestion, then somebody would have had to have told me about it, but nobody ever did it just showed up on its own. but speaking of POS, ul all prolly see it now, now that I’ve told u, cuz most do after I tell them lol. Oh If any of u really do happen to see if after reading my post, or would just like to contact me in regards to this post, feel free to mail me anytime at: evulded1013@yahoo.com thanks again, and thanks for sharing yalls stories too!

I have to share this with the world!
I am a cat owner. Her name is Lulu. I have had her for about 2 year now. After I adopted her I felt that I should adopt another one to keep her company so I did just that. Leo, the male, was a cutie and they were very good friends.. But he was not near as obedient as Lulu.
He would piss all over the house.. on my counter.. etc.. I tolerated it for a long time but eventually I got FED UP. I had decided to get rid of him so I put him up for adoption. Ever since, about 5 months now, Lulu has been CRYING non stop.. she still does. When I am standing outside my door after I come home from work I can hear her crying non stop. I thought about getting another cat but ever since I got rid of Leo I noticed that my house is a lot let dirty and smells better.. I live in a studio apt so more than one cat is tough.
Anyway… for a few weeks I have been pondering the thought of getting rid of Lulu as well.. Her crying is unbearable at time.. and it often keeps me up at night or wakes me up in the middle of the night. One night last week she was crying all night again and in the morning her cries woke me up again and I finally decided I was definitely going to get rid of her! I felt bad but I just couldnt stand it anymore. With that thought in mind I got up and got ready for work..etc. I get up at 4:30am. I literally get up get dressed and Im out the door still half asleep cause I like to sleep on the train. Anway.. that morning.. before I left I went into the kitchen area and I took a drink of juice before I left. as I walked out of the kitchen Lulu was at her food dish eating and I noticed that there was very little food in there.. so for a second I thought “should I give her more food now or wait till I get home?” I stood paused there for a few seconds and then I just decided to give her more food.
So I leaned down and and got her food back and poured out more food in her dish and as I was down there I thought I smelled Gas. Now I am still half asleep. I poured her food and put the bag back on the shelf and That was when I heard it… The HISSing for gas coming from my stove. I looked at my stove and the knob was turned one quarter of the way letting out gas. I turned it off quickly and thought How did that happen. I realized must have knocked into it when I had stumbled past it to get to the fridge.. anyway.. the window was opened and I waited a minute till I felt most of the smell had dissipated and left to go to work. As I was walking to the train I was thinking about how HORRIBLY BAD that could have turned out. If I had decided not to feed her.. I would have NEVER smelled the gas and would have left my house with the gas filling up the room all day
I live on the ground floor of an apt building. The thought of what could have happened TERRIFIES ME to the bone. I swear on my life i think about how could this have happened and am so thankful it didnt go the wrong way. I dont think I will let Lulu go! IF you have a similar story I want to hear it!

Since I was younger I thought it was great having my birthday on the 1st of September as I would always be the oldest! In my sixth year I would be the oldest child in the year! .... So walking in very excitedly being the oldest child, I saw a new boy in the class named Daniel and my friend Evie exclaimed his birthday was September the fourth also! I was speechless, so I asked him what time he was born at and he said seven minutes to eight in the morning, so was I! And he said he was born in a St Mary’s hospital, so was I! & It turns out our mums were in the same ward together!
-
After we left primary school and went to different high schools we met when We both turns 25 in the same club both celebrating our birthday!
-
Ten years later at a school reunion, we met again and it turned out we both had daughters of 7 and four years old named Grace born December the 12th.
We were both divorcées and fell in love having a beautiful son born on the 12th december again, at 7 minutes to eight! CREEPY

This is relating to the previous poster’s “Be Calm” coincidence. What a coincidence I just received an email titled “calmness”.
It was a humorous email explaining how to seek peace by finishing tasks that you started but haven’t completed yet.

I was feeling tense before I received the email, but the humor made me smile & relax. Maybe this is an universal message for everyone today!

Just now as I was reading some conicidences on this site my mother picked up as book. In this book fell out a little piece of paper saying ‘Be calm… be still… be at peace’. My mum has looked at that book many times, reading it and looking through yet this peice of paper has never appeared before. How odd! I will say later on whether anything else happens to do with this odd piece of paper!! By the way I have also looked at that book and never found that paper…

Hey, here’s a weird family coincidence: My birthday is August 13, 1995. My mom’s birthday is February 13, 1995, and my older sister’s birthday is the same. Their birthday is my half birthday, and mine is their half birthday. My father died from a heart attack January 26, 1996, and my sister died July 16, 2006. (Both six’s.) My mother’s current birthday is April 13. Lot’s of 13’s and 6’s!

Every few days or so, I keep seeing the numbers 1111 on the cars clock, best before dates on drink bottles and again everywhere. Will this mean anything???
