About a week ago my boyfriend went on a school trip to a place called Holt in Norfolk, UK. I live in Essex but had never heard of this small town. On Friday just gone I was travelling to college, I was following a coach from Holt, Norfolk. I took a photo to show my boyfriend but forgot all about it after a day at college. Any way, I went to work today (Sunday) and a lady came into the shop. She told me she was travelling from Kent to Thursford in Norfolk and that her coach would be stopping at a place called Holt, had I heard of it? Of course I had! I think its bizarre that a small town I hadn’t previously heard of has come up three times in the space of a week. I googled the name Holt and it came up with a publishers in USA for learning materials. I am studying to become a teacher.

I got married 2 years ago in Thailand to a Thai lady she’s about 23 years younger than me,In May 2005 I brought her over to England on a 2 year visa. Three months later she was offered a job cleaning class rooms in the very school I went to 37 years ago.A few weeks ago she was offered another part time job cleaning offices in the factory where I started work when I left school.
Three weeks ago her friend asked her if she would be interested in working in the laundry at the local hospital in Blackburn where we live, she said yes and sent a CV in, on Monday she is going for an interview and a look at the job.
This is the very hospital where I was born.

I went to a boarding school and at the age of 14 had a girlfriend from SF California for a couple of weeks. 20 years later I chatted up an American tourist in a nightclub in Bath who turned out to be her next door neighbour.

The British actor Anthony Hopkins [who shot to fame as Hannibal Lecter] was delighted to hear that he had landed a leading role in a film based on the book The Girl From Petrovka by George Feifer. A few days after signing the contract, Hopkins travelled to London to buy a copy of the book. He tried several bookshops, but there wasn’t one to be had. Waiting at Leicester Square underground for his train home, he noticed a book apparently discarded on a bench. Incredibly, it was The Girl From Petrovka. That in itself would have been coincidence enough but in fact it was merely the beginning of an extraordinary chain of events. Two years later, in the middle of filming in Vienna, Hopkins was visited by George Feifer, the author. Feifer mentioned that he did not have a copy of his own book. He had lent the last one – containing his own annotations – to a friend who had lost it somewhere in London. With mounting astonishment, Hopkins handed Feifer the book he had found. ‘Is this the one?’ he asked, ‘with the notes scribbled in the margins?’ It was the same book.

My story of coincidence consists of three stories, but they are all intertwined with the same subject – my ex-girlfriend.

Coincidence #1
One day way back in 1996, I was enjoying internet surfing and e-mailing with my own internet connection. I never had a connection before, so this was very exciting! I enjoyed netmeeting, icq and firetalk, especially the Yahoo Christian chatrooms. This was the best part.

One night, while chatting at Yahoo, I ended up speaking with a chatter named “SalmonHunter”. She was a 21 year old female from Brampton, Ontario, Canada. We chatted all the time and she shared with me about her life. We never met, because just as suddenly, she disappeared.

Five years ago in the month of February 16th, I was in a bookstore and I met this girl named Annika. I didn’t know anything about her at the time, until we started dating and she told me that she lived in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and when we talked about our computers, she asked me if I ever chatted on-line before. I said: ‘Yes! I chat all the time.’ She told me that when she was living at home, she used to frequent the yahoo chatrooms and used the name “SalmonHunter”. I told her that I used to chat with her. Everything she told me about her life was the same when we chatted on-line as strangers in 1996.

Coincidence #2
In 2003, when both Annika and I were engaged, we purchased a townhouse together and I had portraits of both my mother and father on my shelf in the livingroom. It was a hommage to them, since they were both dead.

One day, Annika’s uncle Jack, her grandma and her Aunt Maggie came for a visit. I wasn’t home at the time, but Annika told me that when her uncle Jack saw a photo of my mom, he asked if my mother used to be a nurse? Annika mentioned that she was and Jack said that he used to work with my mother at the same hospital. I found out that this was the same guy.

Coincidence #3
Annika’s grandma, that same day as above, was shocked when she saw the photo of my mother because she remembered that way back in 1991, she was one of my mother’s patients in 1991 when she was in the hospital from a diabetic coma. She described my mother’s personality to the ‘T’. Apparently, my mother had quite a wonderful bedside manner. :)

It is funny how one photo can link one family together, who otherwise have no idea….

I just exited the TWILIGHT ZONE!!!

“I was sitting at exactly #307 Laurier Avenue West here in Ottawa at exactly 3:07 PM when a car pulled into the driveway to back out, the plate number was 307 and all four vehicles parked on Laurier Avenue in front of the coffee shop had licence plate numbers of 307. A woman says to a man coming out of the coffee shop “How much do I owe you?” He replies; ”$3. dollars and 7 cents”! A Hillary Cleaners van drives by heading east on Laurier, the phone number ends in 307 and a Fed Ex Truck heading west on Laurier passes with an address of #307 Albert Street Ottawa.

What will the Winning Ontario PICK 3 Lottery Number be for tonight’s draw????

A Sign or coincidence??

I went to two different stores with my mom, and at the grocery store we spent $111. Afterwards, we went shopping for clothes. The total: $111! When we got home, my friend and i were talking on the phone when she told me about this purse she wanted, and when i asked how much it was she said $111! I practically fainted.

My name is Hanne, and on the day I was born my great aunt Hanne died in South America (she lived in Puyo, Ecuador). My astrological sign is Cancer, and she died of cancer. She and my grandmother were twins, and my mom looks like them, and I look like my mom. When I was young, I never really saw a likeness between myself and Hanne’s photograph, but now that I have matured, the likeness is uncanny. The last time I looked at the photograph I flipped out. Also, Hanne’s son, Pablo (my uncle, looks like an older version of my little brother.

My grandma unfortunately passed away on the 8th October 2006 in England. I live in Perth Western Austraiia and flew over to her bedside while she was still in hospital. She died within two hours of my sister and i arriving at her bedside.
Firstly, a few minutes after she had passed, while i was just spending a few quiet momments with her to remember her life, the machine next to her which had been switched off started beeping uncontrollably to which the nurse rushed in and turned it off looking at me in a confused way. I was on the other side of the bed.
In the next few days, whilst at our house in england which is actually next door to my grandmas old house, we get a call from the plumbing company saying they just received a call from Mary Neild-Siddall (my granny) requesting that there is drainage problem in her house and to see us about it. We told them she acutally had passed several days earllier. Now was there something beyond us going on here???

A few days later, i arrived back in perth. One afternoon, my mum (which was granny’s only child) was trimming back some flowers in the garden which happened to be my granny’s favourite ones. When, she noticed in the bed itself, was a 5 pound note. Putting it aside, she kept working and a few momments later, she found another one!! I was told later on that evening, and didn’t think too much of it, until i went up to my room and noticed that the two five pound notes that id put under a glass jar were missing. I hadn’t moved them, i was planning on getting them changed to Australian dollars soon enough. Now my balcony door is never opened and all my windows have fly screens on them so how they got from under a heavy jar to insde my granny’s favourite flower bed, i don’t know.
Further more, i stood looking at the jar for sometime after trying to work out how this came about when my focus took me to immediately behind the jar on where there were a stack of books. The book immediately behind the jar where the notes had been was a book titled “Beyond Coincidence!!”

Now tell me this isn’t something out of the ordinary!!!
