A few years ago my brother and I were out at someone’s house in the country looking for deer. The deer were destroying some crops so we were going to see if there were any bucks worth shooting. While we were waiting for the sun to set there was a huge flock of geese in the field, so I got the bright idea that I should through a stick out there and scare them all away. As I ran toward them to throw it, they all started flying and I threw it low to the ground to avoid hitting one. One didn’t fly and I hit it right on the head. I thought I killed it and I felt horrible. As I walked over to it, it started to move and I felt relieved it wasn’t dead. It stood up with its left side facing me and I was only about 5 yards away from it and it wasn’t flying. I took two more steps towards the goose and could see that I had blinded its left eye. Then he turned his head and saw me and flew. I felt relieved that it could fly and then forgot about it.
It must have been about a month later I was on a golf course several miles from there and I was golfing by myself because I didn’t have many classes that day. I hit a bad tee shot and it went into the rough over near a tree and a flock of geese. As I approached my ball, there was a goose sitting under the tree about 5 yards from my ball. I went to scare it away when I noticed it had a callouse over its left eye socket. I stopped and stared at it for a few minutes and it just stared at me like it remembered me. I felt really bad all over again and left it alone. I know it was the same goose.

A few days ago, I ate a ham and cheese sandwich at roughly 4 o’ clock in the afternoon. I later recieved a phonecall that my boss had choked to death on a ham and cheese sandwich at roughly 3:30 – 4 o’ clock.

I have been watchin the new tonight show with conan o`brian. One day I remember that he used to go out with lisa kudrow, and I tough that it would be great if she could invite her to the show. Shortly after this I went to watch t.v. and in there I saw the ad that lisa kudrow would be the next guest on the tonight show.
Excuse my lousy spelling.
And one more thing, they did go out right?

I was in a New York City motel with my boyfriend. We had just watched “Chasing Amy” on tv, and the scene where they compare scars reminded him of “Jaws” and he talked about how the story Quint tells in Jaws is based on the real sinking of the USS Indianapolis.
Later that day we were walking back from a restaurant and found a pile of free books sitting on a curb. I love books and started to go through them. About the 3rd or 4th title down was “In Harms Way: The Sinking of the USS Indianapolis and the Extraordinary Story of its Survivors”.
I spent the trip home reading aloud from the sections about the shark attacks.

Strange Coincidences happen to me constantly. They we’re especially numerous during my stay at the Nebraska State Penitentiary for my involvement in an accident that resulted in the death of a beautiful young woman. A terrible thing, to say the least.
But one of the strangest coincidences happened several months before sentencing while I was out looking for part time work. When I walked in to a place to fill out an application, I was met by a young woman behind a desk. The first thought that came to my mind when I saw her was my niece “Ericka”. This woman looked so much like my niece and such was the similarity that I almost had to convince myself that it wasn’t her.
And so, I asked her for an application. As I was filling out the application, two elderly women came in and started chatting with each other. I wasn’t really paying much attention to them until I heard one say to the other: “how’s your daughter Ericka”.
Being a little spooked by the experience, I decided to call home and ask my wife if everything with Ericka was ok. She said that as far as she knew, Ericka was fine. Not knowing what else to do, I said a prayer for Ericka or for whatever was related to her in some way.
Then two days later, my wife was wondering why I had even asked about Ericka. So I told her about my coincidence. It was then that she told me that, while Ericka was alright, her boss,on the other hand was not. Apparently, the man was going through a very difficult time and had decided to end his life, which he did a couple days earlier….....!
Since then,I’ve been besieged with, literally, hundreds of odd and bewildering coincidences. Although I don’t understand them, when they occur, I always say a prayer for someone, anyone who may need help.

I get LOADS (several per day) of small coincidences. The are almost always word or phrase coincidences. The same word or phrase will appear both on the TV with someone speaking it out loud and at the same time I will read that word or phrase in print or on the computer screen, always in a completely different context. Anyone else get this? Please msg me…

While browsing a local version of craig’sd list type site, a post
was a woman looking for an English bull dog, young, male. I wrote down the number and intended to call suggesting she look at local rescues and shelters. Then I looked up a site, petlocator.com, to see
if they had any in the area. Sure enough they did. Right breed, right sex, right age. I wrote that information down intending to give it to the woman when I called. That was on a friday afternoon and I never got around to doing it that night. The next morning I decided to get coffee at local store. I noticed a yard sale sign accross the road (I had no intention of going to any sales because I had a prior commitment). Since it was so close, I went. I saw a bag of opened dog food for sale and asked the woman if it was still fresh. She replied that her dog had died recently and her other dog didn’t like it and yes it was ok. She said in passing that she was looking for another dog. I asked what kind. She answered, “an english bull dog”. I said, “did you have an ad on Ron’s Swap Shop?” “Yes” she said. I took out my note book and showed her where I had written her number and the information about the dog I had found on the pet site. We were both amazed.

I promise, this is a true story. My sister and I were in my parents hot tub watching White Noise for the first time. You know how the radio got all staticy? Well when we were driving home after the night, we were listening to a local radio station. We were in a great location, and there was no reason for it to mess up. Well, we were going down this creepy road when the radio started to change on its own, and became nothing but static. Thats when we started hearing voices like, “Where am I? Who are you? Leave me alone.” It was strange. It finally stopped, and it never happend again.

My wife and I were born in cities nearly 3,000 miles apart. I was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania and she was born in Alameda, California. Both cities begin and end with A’s and are seven letters long.
