The other day I got out of the shower and started humming some notes. I decided to try and put some lyrics to it, so after a few minutes of trying different lines, I settled on “There was a train, in the Ukraine”. After that, there was one more line I needed to finish it. After thinking up a few different ideas—I settled on “killed a family of four”. (I’m not a morbid person, but a crash was the only thing that I thought would be interesting involving a train).

The next morning I was watching CNN, reading the ticker running across the bottom of the screen. After about a minute of watching I see the headline stream across—“Ukranian train collision kills six”.

It turns out that the train hit a passenger a bus, and I’m not sure if any of the victims on the bus were related.

On my way to church this morning, I got to thinking about a young couple who were married in our church last summer.I was thinking “I haven’t seen ‘Jane’ and ‘John’ since the wedding. Keep in mind, I was not particularly close to them, so to think of them in that way was a bit unusual. Anyway, I get to church, and what was the first announcement made? That “Jane” and “John” had flown in for a surprise weekend and were at the service! Weird.

The one where you look at the time and it’s 1:11 or 2:22 etc, happens to me all the time. Is there any significance to this or is it just a “coincidence”.

I’ve had quite a few coincidences in my life. But, I’ll tell you the most recent and ironic one.

Today, Feb 06, 09, I found this very website and started reading some of the coincidences you guyz have shared. I got to a coincidence about 9/11 written by Marty, it’s on page 2 of the archives. It got me curious and so I did some research on 9/11 coincidences. Like 20 minutes later, I got a friend request on Facebook from a person with the first name Patrick. Then that reminded me of another person I knew also named Patrick. I went searching for this other Patrick and found that his profile was public, so I viewed the profile and saw that his birthday is September 11th. It’s a minor but a weird coincidence. How ironic that I was reading about coincidences and a coincidence happened today.

at a party, I exchanged pleasantries with a movie buff. I tried all evening to recall a movie I had recently watched to no avail. I tried thinking of the movie star from the thirties, that was in it. Nothing. When I got home, I picked up a book to read. It was about microbiotics. The author recounted a story of a friend who was at a press party. He was just about to put sugar in his coffee when the woman next to him said, “Stop. That stuff is poison. I never use it”.
The woman was Gloria Swanson, the acress whose name I was trying to thing of all evening.

After playing around on Google Earth I noticed that the runways of Vienna Airport (LOWW), Austria, and Balaton Airport (LHSM), Hungary, are not only perfectly aligned on a bearing of 164.5deg but are also 164.5km apart. These are both runway 16 (hence roughly 160deg) but this does not explain the coincidence between alignment, distance and bearing.

Literally, if one were to take off straight along the runway from Vienna at a bearing of 164.5deg and fly for 164.5km without any kind of turn or deviation you would land right in the middle of another airport, right in the right place on the runway. Why the coincidence?

One day I am at work and my friend calls me and tells me her computer is messing up and asked if I knew the phone number of a local computer tech. I didn’t, so she said she would just look it up in the phone book. She did and instead of it being the computer guy, she got a strange message, so she calls me back and tells me to call the number-all freaked out. Keep in mind…we are in a very small community of 600 and my name is Debbie and my husbands name is Ted. I call the number and the message machine says…Hi, you have reached the home of Ted and Debbie, sorry we are unable to come to the phone right now, please leave a short detailed message and your phone number and we will get back to you asap. This was very odd, since we knew of no other Ted and Debbie in our small town. Then I started wondering if this was some strange joke because it was April fools day and my friend was very capable, trust me. I just chucked it off as a strange coincindence.

3 months later…
We have a dog named Skooter. Unfortunately, Skooter is a roamer. We live on 300 acres and Skooter is well known by all adjacent property owners, plus others out here in the country. skooter wheres a tag, so anyone seeing skooter knows our phone number to call. One day we go outside and Skooter is no where to be found. We start looking for him, but with no luck. We get this voice message on our phone saying…Hi this is Ted and we have your dog Skooter. He gives me his address and it is about 1 1/2 miles from where we live, which was about the farthest he had ever roamed before, to our best knowledge. I get there to his house and get to talking to the nice man and he mentions his wife Debbie. I couldn’t believe my ears. My dog found the only other Ted and Debbie in our town. I guess Skooter didn’t think his Ted and Debbie were good enough-ey, so he went and found another. To funny!!!
Crazy coincidence to say the least. ha

My sister lives 75 miles from me. We were talking on the phone, and she was complaining about waking up every night at the same time.
I did the same thing, and after talking about it, we discovered it was the same time every night….2:10 AM. This happened every night for 2 weeks.

Now, before I start, I am not some wacky alien fantasist, it was just an odd coincidence.

A few weeks ago, I had a dream, in which I was walking along a country road in the English countryside, just outside a small rural British town. Suddenly, I saw two alien spacecrafts, which were silver, with bright orange glowing lights coming from the bottom.

The next day, upon arriving back home from school, = I went on the internet. Almost news story caught my eye (a news story I noticed on Msn Live as I signed into MSN Messenger. The article was this:
http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/article.aspx?cp-documentID=12574236

For those who don’t wish to open up a new link, the article basically tells of how Aliens may have crashed an broken a wind turbine in an unexplained accident where a 60ft blade was torn from a wind turbine. This all took place in Conisholme in Lincolnshire – which is a rural town in England. Furthermore, the residents of that town stated that they’d allegedly seen UFOs that had an appearance of ‘a bright white light with an orange edge’.

The coincidence of the place, plus the appearance of the UFOs, not to mention the very strange timing baffled (and freaked me out) greatly. Especially as this was the first time I’d dreamt about aliens (that I can remember) in my life.

For now, I’m about 99% certain it was a coincidence, but; you never know.
