this coincidence gets kind of confusing because it involves 5 people from different parts of the country,my sister melanie, and her best friend, michelle, michelles brother cory, my sisters friend kyle, and a guy from the other side of the country, jesse. kyle met cory through a friend that my sister didn’t know. my sister was talking to kyle one day because they are good friends, and kyle mentioned this guy he had just met and it turns out, cory is actually michelle’s brother, and my sister knew him.

thats strange enough, meeting a complete stranger in a different province and him being connected somehow. well THEN kyle was telling this story to a friend of his online, 3000 km away, jesse, and jesse says, melanie? what does she look like? is her father——-? this jesse is actually a guy that my sister and i grew up with. we moved away 14 years ago.
needlless to say kyle was really freaked that everyone he talked to in different parts of the country knew my sister

I go through phases of coincidences regularly. To others they may seem nothing other than that. But when the path I’ve taken to come across such thoughts without speaking about them, I begin to wonder.

I’ll try not to sound to complicated. On occasion, I’ll have a dream about something or someone and then the next day out of the blue that something or someone ends up appearing or becoming part of my day. Now that can be a person I know, an event or place or even a celebrity. Now its easy to assume that if its a celebrity all I have to do is trun on the TV or open a newspaper. But its usually someone who hasn’t been in the media for a while or is obscure.

I had a detailed dream recently about returning to an old job and the following morning I bumped into a former colleague right outside the place. Niether of us work there anymore and its not one of the better examples I could give you. However, now that I have found this website, I am going to start submitting my coincidences as they happen.

Today, I had two strange ones. The latter of the two links to the Greek Myth of Persephone. Random I know, but bare with me. I was watching a film this evening and I wanted to know who a Monica Belluci was so I went on IMdb. I realised who it was as she was in the Matrix. I was curious as to her character name as that is one of my favourite films. Its turns out it was Persephone. Earlier on today I was on a website created by the makers of the TV series Lost. Its an interactive website with clues for fans etc based on the show. The person who speaks to you when online is called Persephone. Coincidence? On the same day? Too complicated to be so.

OK guys. You’ve got to hear this one. I’m assuming most of you guys are american so im gonna have to apologise about talking about soccer.

In a pub watching the footy, we were watching Manchester Utd vs Charlton. I somehow got on the topic of Gary MacCallister, a player from the past (retired 2001). I was talking about one of my favourite goals of his, where he scored a cheeky goal, it was a very original goal. 2 minutes later my favourite team Arsenal conceded a goal against wigan scored by David Thompson, which i only knew about cos there was a scoreflash at the bottom of the screen.

I get home see Dave’s goal on ‘Match of the Day’ and it couldnt have been more identical to Gary’s goal from 5 years ago. almost same position and the same amount of cheekyness. I’m gonna put an odds chance on this:

1/500 for there to be a goal of that sort to be replicated in any premiership game

1/100 for the timing of my conversation

1/50000 which can only be described as an understatment in my very humble opinion

I was watching CNN the other day and I saw something about Magician David Blaine but I missed the end of it, so I waited for half an hour to see it repeated again. Turns out he was going to be living a salt water aquarium for a week. After feeling like an idiot for waiting for so long so something that stupid, I turned the channel to The Colbert Report. At the exact moment that I turned the channel, Stephen Colbert was talking about the exact same David Blaine report.

I am a big fan of jack the ripper.I’ve been studying him since i was really young and i’ve always been interested in him. When i looked up unfirmation about his victims, i found one in particular strange about Mary Jane Kelly. Here they are

~Mary Kelly consists of 9 letters in that name, so is mine (Sara Brown).

~ Mary is of Irish decent. So am I
~ She DIED in November of 1888. I was BORN in November 1988, exactly one hundred years later.
~ She marreid a guy with tha name of Davis. I lost my innocence to a guy with the surname of Davis
~Her eye color is blue as of mine
~Her hair color was blonde as of mine
~She was 5’6, I’m that height.
~She was very fond of men, I used to be that way.

I’ve known my boyfriend for 6 years now. We went out on and off for 3 years and a solid 7 months. It’s strange because our relationship shows so many signs that were meant to be, even when we werent together sometimes. Like we were both born in November and he’s 9 days older than me, when we werent together for 2 years, i kept having these dreams that i started a family with him. When we werent together, I saw on a movie that a team was called Morris-Brown. That’s our last names. When we are together, he says something that I was thinking of, we think alike so much, he has a very large family, i have a very large family.He has a feminine side, i have a boyish side. I can always sense when something is going to go wrong with him, and him the same to me. I always know when he’s going to call cuz i can sense it. We both like to dress up and look good too.We’re both Scorpios and he has a younger sister 2 years youner and i have a sister 2 years younger.

i dreamt about this guy on a movie,and in my dream, i asked him how old he was, he said he was 27. Well ,the next day , i went on the interent to look him up, and sure enough, he was really 27. I didnt know his age beofre that. THen, i had a dream about a shoe that my boyfriend wanted but i had no idea what it looked like. The next day, when we went shopping, he pointed out the shoes he wanted, the exact same kind in my dream!

In my english class we wrote letters for the “great canadian mail race”. I live in Kanata and I picked a school in Dartmouth Nova Scotia to write to. I sent it, and then the same night I looked at this chatroom. There was an entry from someone living in Kanata, and right below it, there was an entry from someone living in Dartmouth.

One Night I was working on my computer at about 1am & I had a can of coke on the table next to my mouse. All of a sudden it started moving toward the edge of the table as if was going to fall off. I grabed it just as it was going to drop off. It was about 3cm full of drink and on a totally flat table…
Me and my wife went on a day trip two hours away from our home. On the way home one hour into the drive our car broke down at night. We called a tow truck and on the way home(in the towtruck) about 20mins into the drive back there was another car broken down. It was my brother..
I had broken down on that exact spot once before and heading in the opposite direction once as well. three times same spot.(new car)
Me and three friends did a sayonce once, we sat in a circle lit candles ect. Nothing happened..My friend said I know how you can get a cheap thrill stick a knife in the power socket. I said that wont work it has a positive and a negative. He said well “stick the Knife in the toaster” as he said that we turned on the tv and there was some music video late night show on. In the clip there were people doing a sayonce and on the next screenshot there was a knife being stuck in a toaster.We all looked at each other dumbfounded.
I was having an arguement with my wife one day and my marriage cetificate fell of the wall while we were yelling..
I was talking about cars with a cousin one day and hyundi cars were mentioned, i said their cars are crap but they build the biggest ships in the world, as i said this a commercial came on tv for some current affairs program and they said “hyundi builds the worlds largest ships” & showed hyundis ships…
For weeks one of my workmates kept saing “cum-mon pelican” & he wouldnt tell me where he picked up this phrase.anyway days went by…
I had a customer come into our business(petfoods) and talking about plankton for his fish. he said ” thats the stuff that pelicans eat” i said “dont you mean flamingos” he said “yeah, thats what i meant”
That night i watched the movie scareface with Al Pacino for the first time. In the movie theres a scene where pacinos lying on his bed watching tv. he sais “look at that pelican fly, cum-mon Pelican”
But what hes actually watching on his tv are flamingos. both the movie and my customer said pelican but meant to say flamingo..
My wife said to me one night lying in bed now we’re married “i never see my friends anymore”“I have no friends” while i was watching a movie… she went straight to sleep after that comment. At the end of this movie when the credits came up on the black screen the finishing quote was “YOU WILL MAKE NEW FRIENDS”...
These are but a few incidents that happened all of a sudden over the course of about 2 months around dec05-jan06
This might sound strange but i think that the future is set in motion and no matter what we do we cant change it.For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore everything reacts to everything setting things in motion. We might just be able to pick up on these things when they come into alignment(coincidences)
Life is just a series of interactions with each other, we act, someone else reacts to this and so on with this process. This will keep happening till we reach our destiny…..
