I was at my cottage one night when I got really bad heartburn. I found out the next day that my uncle had a heart attack at the same time my pain started. About a year later, I had an urge to call my grandfather but I never did. At the exact moment that I wanted to call him, HE had a heart attack!

Today at school, a friend had loaned me 50 cents he owed me. Then another friend gave me a quarter so I could buy a soda with the 75 cents at the vending machine. I walked over, and, as luck would have it, the vending machine said $1.25 was in it. I looked around but no one was using the machine, it appeared, so I walked away happily with an extra 1.25.
Then I went back to my friend, and since I had put the coins in my pocket, I reached back in to get them. I felt some bills in my pocket and pulled them out. It was $15, I had no clue where from!
(I know, more luck than coincidence, but I thought it was cool.

Right so I was just watching Friends on TV. I had it on Mute because I was listening to some music on the computer. When I unmuted it, the first thing Ross said was “mute”.

Had many weird ones. Just found myself in loneliness – discovering a remarkable coincidence. Four years ago I joined a dating site – nobody interesting – then one came along. Seemed amazing – so fast..appeared to be a strong connection. Within a few days of emailing – I was at work and emailed him back (with my company’s addy of course) – he emailed back to say his ex wife (didnt’ know he had one prior) worked at the same company (he lives in another country!) as me (same country – she obviously moved from my country to his!) and she had the same occupation! This turned out to be nightmare online thingy – needless to say. We never even met – was disastrous. Many years later, I did a search online to find out if what some things he said were true (I was bored one day). I found his marriage license with his ex wife’s name. He had told me coincidently, that his ex’s parents lived in the same town as me (another coincidence, seemingly that we are in diff countries). So, being a small town I looked into how far away her family (with surname) lives to me. It turns out her parents live in my sister’s old house or next door (did a google earth). How is that for coincidence? I’m sharing this as it’s not something I feel I can share with anyone else….very weird. What is the chances?

Last week I went into Inka Mama’s a Peruvian restaurant that I go to every couple months. I walked in and said I wanted to get an order to go, the waitress said
“Derek?”
and I was like.. mm yeah.
Then she went to read my order but I stopped her and said
“how did you know my name” she said
“didn’t you just call in an order?”
“nooooo” ohh..
SO out of all the people to walk in, out of all the possible people she could have assumed I was she thought I was someone who called in an order with my name!
It really freaked me out!
I read a story on here about someone who rents a movie and it’s coincidentally on tv, that’s happened to me twice in the last two months.

Ever since I’ve been looking at this site(I come here often as of about a week ago) I’ve noticed a bunch of coincidences that happen to me. Everywhere I go I see “Sheffield” and “Syracuse”. There are multiple stories in the archive that have these names in there. I was recently playing ESPN NHL 2K5, and when I created a team, the minor league team was Syracuse. This is kind of weird because my dad grew up in a town in NB very close to Sheffield.

Background info: My daughter had a misunderstanding with a schoolmate that ended up in a “He said / She said” situation. The end result was that my daughter’s reputation was negatively impacted more than was deserved. I decided to call the child’s parent to discuss to clear up any misunderstanding, but since it was such an awkward situation, I kept putting it off. In fact, I had put it off so long that the likelihood that I would ever end up calling the parent was at this point pretty remote.
One day I was walking my dog on a Saturday morning. Wha was unusual about this walk was that usually my husband and I both walk the dog on Saturdays. He had some unusual engagement that day, so off I went on my own, and since he wasn’t with me and I had no pressing time commitment, I decided to alter from our usual route (I like change!) and go for a long walk, allowing the dog to lead me wherever he wanted to go. We ended up taking unusual streets that we don’t usually walk on, twisting and turning. I was really curious as to what was making him decide to take these different streets. There was numerous junctures when he could have lead me left or right, and I allowed him to choose. It was very early in the morning, about 7:55 a.m. and we happened to pass by a house where a woman was loading things into her car and getting ready to head off somewhere. As I approached, I noticed that it was the mother of the other child that my daughter had the altercation with. I was surprised because they had moved and I didn’t even know they lived there. I was immediately reminded that I never did make that phone call to her and as soon as that thought came into my head I wanted to just keep going, out of embarrassment, but something made me stop and go to her and say hello and explain that I had been meaning to call about the incident that had happened a few months ago. She thanked me for telling her the other details of which she was not aware, and things were cleared up immediately. I felt so much better and to the best of my knowledge, she did too.
It continually amazes me how the Lord works in our lives. If I had passed by her house two minutes earlier or later, I would not have seen her. I would not have stopped, I would never have made that call and my daughter’s reputation would have been still tarnished unnecessarily. It was so wonderful how he lead me to a point where I had really no choice but to make that connection. He knew it was important enough that he had to help me to do it for her sake. This is only one incident of coincidence that I have experienced in my life, I have had many others, but this one particularly touched me because it was so obvious to me how the Lord was guiding me and I had no idea what he was doing until after it happened. It brought great joy to my heart and I share this story often with others, so they know his power and what a strength he is in our lives, if we only let him in.

Whilst waiting for a doctor’s appointment outside as the surgery wasn’t open for a further 15 minutes, I turned my attention to the carpark opposite to amuse myself. I thought of the random number 681 to see if I could spot it on any car licence plates on the many parked cars there, to pass the time. There wasn’t one. Then, just as the Doctors was opening its doors, a solitary car pulled into the only available empty car space – it had the number 681!
