A few years ago i borrowed a book from the library about coincidences. One afternoon i settled down in the chair to have a read of the book, with the t.v. on low in the background. As i turned to a chapter about coincidences concerning the German WW2 battleship “Bismarc”, imagine my surprise when the guy on the t.v announced the title of the next programme, a 1950s British war film called “Sink The Bismarc”.

As I was driving to Washington D.C. for the weekend, I drove by this car that particularly caught my eye, and to this day I still don’t know what kind of car it was, it was very weird, I can’t really explain it. Anyway, so I take a bunch of pictures of this car quickly as I drive by it (It is going the opposite way down this highway)and I remember thinking to myself that I had never seen anything like it before. Now, I am driving back from D.C. three days later and low and behold, I see the same car and driver (and passengers) take an off-ramp on the right of me . . . Now the really strange thing that made my head hurt for a while, is that I saw the car take that exit not three seconds after I remembered and started thinking about it from the first part of the trip. Crazy stuff.

Recently, while flying, I noticed the passenger sitting in front of me was reading a copy of “Being Wrong: Adventures in the Margin of Error”. The book was on my wishlist, so I asked him how it was.

He had just bought it at the airport. Apparently, the author’s name caught his eye. It turned out he had gone to elementary school with her.

So Im an avid gamer, and I spent alot of time getting a mod called Shifter to work with a decade old masterpiece called Deus Ex. It turns out I had to update the game to version 112 to get it to work with the mod. So I go to school the next day and I am done with assignments so I decide to roam the internet. So at the google homepage there is the usual (but occassionally different) google fashioned art in the place of the logo. I was intrigued by the art so for a less than apparant reason I mouse over the art. In a small box it talks about some random guy’s birthday, and guess what, it was his 112th. And yes he is dead.

I have moved several times in my life and always found things strange with numbers in my address.
Over the last 11 years however I have had the number 1 in my address constantly, its not been a conscience choice either, just the way the homes have worked out. Just to begin with the number 1 was part of 4 numbers, then over the last 4 years its come down to the number 1 alone every time.?
Im about ready to move again lol and actually today was called to meet an estate agent at a property , all I had was the postal code or ZIP code for the location, I arrived for the viewing and met the agent, turned around and there a house number 1???????

One day my son and I were driving to the lake. He started to tell me and his sisters about a strange movie he had watched the night before (we are all movie buffs). The name of the movie was “Frailty” I had seen it before but my daughters hadnt so we proceeded to talk about the movies plot twist, etc. We soon arrived at the lake and once settled into a nice sandy spot I pulled out a brand new book I had just purchased and brought to the lake to read and enjoy. I opened it and proceeded to read the prologue and after only a paragraph or two the writer compares the book story line to a strange movie called “Frailty” !!!!! thats a starnge coincidences…of all the times to discuss such a obscure movie and then pick up a book Ive never read and they refernce the same movie!

I was waiting for a train to Glasgow at Euston Station in London. I saw a gorgeous woman, there was no acknowledgement or eye contact between us. I went into the M&S foodshop on the concourse and we bumped into each other but still no contact of any sort. That was the last I would see of her or so I thought….

The train was crowded, I was sitting in one of two unreserved seats when she walked past and then came back and asked if the seat was taken. I told her no the seat was free, she thanked me and sat down and she confided that she had been worried about taking the seat in case I’d thought think she had been stalking me at the station!

Anyway, we had an enjoyable three hours talking like old friends and we’re going to meet again.

I had no intention of going to London that weekend for my meeting, in fact I was going to cancel, having got to the meeting I was going to catch a later train but in the end decided it was so boring and living the furthest away made my excuses and left only to end up in Euston waiting for that train back to Glasgow…..

Today, while browsing a website, I came across an advert that had Michael McIntyre. Seconds later, my Dad said “look, it’s Michael McIntyre!” Sure enough, he was on the TV.
(While I was writing the work look and advert on the TV said look at the same time.
