On 9/9/99 I went shopping with my dad and the total came out to be $9.99.

Do you know, something really really weird happened yesterday, I was looking for some old photographs which I knew were in a box, so I started searching through….......but then I came across an old diary dated 1961. So, I started reading it and it started when we lived in South Africa and I read on to where we came back to England in the April, & read on up to the 30th September I had written that I met Tony at the 21st party of Eileen who I worked with in Bradford. The last entry in October, I had written that I met Tony after mass at St. Peter’s & stood talking to him, & the rest as they say, is history. Anyway, I started looking back to see where the diary had come from, & I must have got it from the fibre company I worked for in Port Elizabeth, S.A. – because the diary had come from a fibre company in Wuppertal Germany, & there is a photo of the building of the fibre company in Wuppertal, in the front of the diary…...& unbelievably, this was the company where Tony my husband went to work from May 1965 until he retired…............talk about weird…..isn’t that a strange coincidence?????? So, I was given the diary (in South Africa) before I even met Tony, from the company that he didn’t work for but would eventually would work for, for 40 years & still pay his pensions!!!!!!! Isn’t that strange??

In August 1987 my friend Stuart told me on a Friday that he was moving to a new flat in Ealing West London. He told me that he would have q new telephone by Monday but he did not (on the previous Friday) know the new number. Monday came and in order to trace his new number I rang directory enquiries as it was at the time. The operator asked me for the surname I was looking for which I gave, and then he asked me for the initials of my friend. Then he asked me for the new address and I gave him that too. What the operator then said to me was that the person who I was asking about was HIS SON – and it was – I didn’t know his father well but I had met him before and I was able to verify completely that it was my friend’s father. The odds of this happening were surely BILLIONS to one. I will never forget it – and I have told hundreds of people over the years.

i was riding bikes with my friend, Ben. this was in early september and he said “my favorite season is coming upon us.” referring to fall. i said i hated fall because thats when my cat had gotten eaten by a coyote the yeat before.then i said “i really miss blackie” (my cat) then i just happened to look to my right and there was this orange cat sitting on a rock in the woods that looked JUST like Blackie. (Blackies orange) i told ben to turn around quick and take a look. we were amazed! we tried getting closer to the cat and calling him. but as we got closer he ran in to a big bunch of dead bushes but as he leaped, the bushes didnt move. we went looking for him in the woods. all over by those bushes and couldnt find. to this day, i have never seen this cat again and never had before. ghost? i dont know but i think it was some sort of message.

I was in six grade I got a book called the mysterious times I read an article within the book suddenly I saw a person who looks exactly like my english teacher at the same age only dated back 39 years ago

This coincidence happened to me yesterday:

I work in a call centre and to pass the time between calls surf the net (like now!) I was googling some information about feng shui and in particular about cactus, whether they are good in the home or not. A call came through so I turned my attention back to my job – and guess what the company were called – cactus media.

Another “ongoing” coincidence is that both my current boyfriend and my last boyfriend share the same star sign, their surnames begin with the same letter AND both have a daughter with the same name. I believe that I will stay with my current partner, so it is as if fate was trying to lead me to him last time, but got it wrong!

I recently went on holiday to Crete, and before going bought a couple of books to read whilst there. One of the books ended with a chapter completely unconnected to the rest of the novel – with the main character going on holiday…..to Crete. It didn’t fit in with the rest of the story, & there was no indication it would end with that. How weird!!!

I read a book some time ago about coincidences, this led me to keep a record of any strange occurances that happened to me.

On the phone to Donna, she was doing a crossword puzzle and asked when Titanic sank. Later that evening I was at work in a shop and a lady told her daughter she didnt mant her to watch Titanic again. Titanic and Titan was one of the coincidences I read about in my book this morning, I have read nearly half of it.

Got Mum and Dad some fish and chips for lunch today. At work this evening a lady was in a hurry because she had fish and chips in the car, the man in the queue behind her commented that he had just eaten fish and chips for dinner too!

Been thinking about the last few entries. Something big is going to happen. I have text Simon and Louise asking for the phone number of the coastguard.Simon said it is 999 but I’m sure that is not the International Coastguard.(112)

The year 6’s went to Crucial Crew this morning, one of the girls came back with a bag. Written on it was “Dial 999 Coastguard” I took a photo with my camera phone and sent it to Simon

I recently listened to a radio programme all about co-incidences and one in particular stood out. It concerned a man who drove a 1953 Bentley and one day a couple of years ago he was out driving when the car broke down. Luckily, he was near a garage and asked the mechanic to have a look at the car and after a few minutes, the mechanic diagnosed the fault as a broken rotor arm which would need replacing. Just then an AA patrol van was passing, so they flagged it down and jokily asked the patrolman whether he had a spare rotor arm for a 1953 Bentley. Amazingly, he did and was able to repair the car!!!!
