I don’t remember this story, but was told of it when I was older.

I was adopted by my step-father when I was 2 years old and never met or knew of my real father until many years later. When I was about 3 years old, a relative of my step-father was taking me to the hospital to visit my mom who had just given birth to my younger brother. On the elevator ride up, a man stepped in and rode the whole way with us….it was my REAL FATHER!!! She knew who he was, but of course did not say anything and just held her breath when he smiled at me.

As a junior in high school, I lost my class ring at some point and figured I would never see it again. Several months later, a friend of a friend found the ring as he was walking down the street and returned it to me! Then, even more freaky…..I had lost/forgot about the ring for several years by the time I was in my 20’s. Donated a bunch of old stuff in boxes and was called by a friend of mine who worked at a homeless shelter…someone had found the ring there and turned it in to her!!! It’s now in my jewelry box, I never wear it…but can’t seem to get rid of it!!

I had a falling out with a family member and had not seen or talked to this person in years. One day, while trying to dial my friend’s phone number I accidentally mis-dialed one wrong digit. I was surprised to hear someone other than my friend answer since she lives alone. I asked for my friend, thinking she must have company. The person on the other line paused for a moment and then said I must have the wrong number. Before I hung up, the person said my name…here it was the family member I had not spoken to in years (and didn’t even have a number for) and she recognized my voice!!! This family member’s phone number was just one digit off from my friend’s!!!!

My brother’s girlfriend came over and talked up this band “Gnarls Barkley”...it is apparently the big hit back at her college. We all made fun of her and kept saying “Charles Barkley…the basketball player?” Ha HA. Next nite, I’m up late watching Cohnen O’Brien and he introduces his musical act as “new HOT thing to hit the U.S., first performance here in the states…..” GNARLS BARKLEY!!!!!!
Now, I LOVE this band!!!

My sorority sister was home one night taking care of her ill father. Later in the evening he became so gravely ill that she had to call 911. The 911 operator told her to calm down and that everything would be okay…The 911 operator was her mother!!

I will not submit my name, for I want to remain nameless. I was born on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1989. My brother
was born on April 14th, 1992. The same day he was born I was in the hospital getting stitches. It started to rain April 14th and continued for 11 days. Did I mention my brothers name is Rane?

My paternal grandparents had four children: boy, girl, girl, boy. The first son was sent to Vietnam and severly wounded and started a family late in life. First daughter had her first child, a girl, June 22, 1967, Second daughter had her first child, a girl, June 22, 1970. The Second son had his first child, a boy, June 22, 1973. Each first born grandchild born EXACTLY 3 years apart. I wonder if the first son would’ve had a son on June 22 if he hadn’t been a soldier.
By the way, I’m the grandson born June 22, 1973

its not as great as the others, but…
i am a hostess at a restaurant, and every night i have to set up the restaurant for lunch, which consists of putting place mats on, and a cutlury wrap on the place mat. so i put as many place mats under my arm, and as many cutlury wraps as i can fit in my hands. every single time i have had to set up for lunch, i always have just enough of both place mats and cutlury wraps as i need. i have never had to go back and pick up more, and i never count them. i have been working there for 3 years.
