Hey ya’ll…

I don’t know if any of you believe in spririt guides but here’s my story…

As in a previous post of mine, I mentioned the book ‘Fireworks’. It deals with the concept of spirit guides. After reading this book, I tried to make contact with my spririt guide(s). Since I have this spooky thing going on about numbers, I tried to win the lottery through my SG. I needed to know when to play the lottery. So I asked for a ‘sign’ when to play next. I asked to be shown the numbers 649. 6/49 is the lottery that I play occasionally. Anyways, a few days after asking for a ‘sign’ of 649, I got it. At work we have a form called a ‘Move Ticket’. These move tickets have a 5 digit number assigned to them. I have to record the move ticket numbers as reference. This one particular ticket had the last 3 numbers as ‘649’! That freaked me out totally! I played the next 6/49 draw but won nothing. Hmmmm… it may not work for personal gain. I dunno…

Another freaky thing about that incident, is that I was only filling in for someone else at the time of seeing the move ticket that had 649 as the last three digits. I’m a Flexographic Printer and usually ran (at the time), line #70. The operator on line #71 went home sick and I was sent to line 71 for the rest of the shift to cover for him. That is when I saw the ‘649’ move ticket. If line 71 operator had not gone home sick, I would have never experienced the incident. Spooky…

John.

I was riding with my friend to the Chinese Buffet when we were involved in an accident. We were on a four lane road when a red car pulled out across the oncoming lanes and into our lane. Of course we hit the car and spun it around 90 degrees back into oncoming traffic. The red car had a minor head on collision with another truck which just happened to be my friend’s dad’s work truck. It took a lot off my friend’s mind knowing he didn’t have to explain to his parents how he wrecked his car.

Hey… June 26, 2005

I have a tattoo on my right arm that I recently got cut. It is a tattoo of a beautiful girl ‘Tania’ wrapped in nothing but the Canadian flag. One day at work (approx. 10AM) a girl complimented my tat. The girl inquired as to who the girl in the tat was. I said “She’s my Wife…” I quickly told the girl that I was just joking and that she was a Sunshine girl that had appeared in the Toronto Sun newspaper. Later that same day (approx. 10PM), I was watching a movie with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage. Meg Ryan played a Doctor in this movie. There was a scene where Meg was tending to a patient in his hospital room. Meg noticed a tattoo on the man’s arm. She said that’s quite a tattoo Sir, what does you Wife think of it? The man replied….. “She is my Wife” !!!

Hey… June 26, 2005

This is not a coincidence but I would like to share it anyways if I may…

For the longest time now I have been seeing the numbers 111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888 and 999 everywhere. It’s odd that I rarely see 000. Anyways, yeah, I see these numbers all over the place. Mainly on car license plates though. There have been other instances where I’ve seen these numbers. Twice (separate occasions) at Tim Hortons coffee shop I purchased coffee and the total was $6.66! One time at the local deli shop where I purchased some sliced roast beef the total of the beef was $6.66! Many, many times when I look at a clock (LED or Liquid Crystal display) and see 1:11, 2:22, 3:33 and so on. Very spooky! I have read on another Website that those numbers are magical.

The first time that I noticed this phenomenon, was when I was getting fuel for the car. I started pumping the gas and all of a sudden the pump stops. Just like when the tank is full and the nozzle cliks off. However, the tank was nowhere near full but the nozzle clicked of anyway. The dollar amount on the pump when the nozzle clicked off was $6.66!

Hey… June 26, 2005

This one will freak you out!

I was researching ‘coincidences’ on the Interweb and stumbled upon the Website ( www.stargatepress.com )of a woman who writes for a living. Her name is Jill Wellington. Jill and her mom Edna Mae co-wrote a book called ‘Fireworks’. Fireworks is a muder mystery story that deals with the concept of spririt guides. I was intriqued by this and started to read the first ten pages of ‘Fireworks’ that Jill has on her Site as a sample of the book.

While I was reading the sample of ‘Fireworks’, my Wife was watching the movie ‘Purple Rain’ starring Prince. The song ‘Purple Rain’ started to play in the movie and didn’t think anything of it until I got to a part in ‘Fireworks’ where they were having a fireworks display and they were using purple colored fireworks. This is where is gets interesting! The song ‘Purple Rain’ was still playing on tv that my Wife was watching, when I came to a part in the book where they played the song ‘Purple Rain’ to compliment the purple fireworks display.

I think that is the most spooky coincidence that I’ve had to this day.

My mind tends to work visually. I will remember the movie I was watching or the clothes I was wearing when something important happens (or any time really), like how I was watching LA Confidential when I got the phone call that my Grandpa died. What I’m getting at is…tonight was a particularly strange coincidence.
It’s June, 2005, and my mom and I were watching 21 Grams in the living room. In it, a woman loses her children when they are hit by a car and she is devastated. Moments after we watch the realization of their death, my father comes in and tells us our dog just got hit by a car and is of course dead, but it was my mother’s dog and was practically a child to her. Now, she is obviously devastated. It was just all too wierd.

In 1976, when I was 13, I went with my parents to the UK. One night in Scotland, my parents started talking about the University of Texas, where they had met. They are not sentimental or nostalgic, and this is the only time I can recall them talking about their college days. We left the restaurant, walked to the corner, and nearly collided with my dad’s old college roommate, whom he hadn’t seen in nearly 30 years!

When my mother and father got married, they rented a little house in the country,,This is the house where i was born(1972).My parents separated when i was very young and i only have a couple recollections of them being together.
My father bought the farm that surrounded this house years later(around 1990)I lived with him for 2 years during highschool before moving back to my hometown. When i got married in 1998 i bought the house that i was born in(beside my fathers farm). My wife and i had a boy who has red hair just like me.When he was 1 1/2 we separated and she moved back to the town we met.Im sure he will have few recollections of his parents being together also.
This may not be a HUGE coincidence but nevertheless , i hope this house burns down and doesn’t ruin another little redhead boys dream of only wanting a family.
