When I went to camp there was a cabin that was called the haunted cabin because someone broke there neck. Well me and my friends went into the the cabin. So we went in and it was cool until we all started getting cuts on our hands. We got out of there and when I went to sleep I was pulled off the bed and none of my roommates that were in the room did it because they were asleep. The next day I got int the lake I got pulled under and stuff. Then I had a bad time when I had to clean the bathroom cause the bathrooms were all dirty and I got stung by a bee. I just want to know why all that stuff happened and is this just strange or what?

My name is Daniel I met my wife in a club. She was previously married with 3 children. Her name is Christina. My brother’s name is Chris. My nephew is named Chris. My other brother’s ex wife is named Christine. Our 3rd oldest child [ hers] has the same birthday as mine – October 18. Her birthday month is also October. I met her family and found that her brothers and I grew up together [I did not know they had any sisters ]A year or 2 before I met my wife I had some dreams of a woman. I wrote these down the copys are in my records. Anyway that woman’s description perfectly matched my wife’s. My wife had her fortune read. It is on audio tape. In it the phsycic describes the man she will meet will carry something or be associated with the sea. This reading was made 3 or 4 months before we met. At the time my wife and I were listening my wife just happened to look at my necklace screamed then jumped back. My necklace was a ships anchor. My wife and I have been happily married now for 5 years now with a 4th child. I just thought that I would share these coincidences with you so thank you for your time.

I am extremely interested in the supernatural and stuff like this and spirituality. I’ve read many books abou those topics among other books. I’m 14 my birthday was this past april 18th (yay go me lol) I have a lot of strange stuff happen to me although since I am particularly interested in this topic I probably make it up in my mind half the time. :) I chose to put this particular one here because most of my happenings aren’t exactly described as coincidences. Anyway now you know a little about me so I’ll tell you my story.

I have VERY strange dreams very often. One of these dreams was as follows. You will probably wonder why this is a coincidence but read to the bottom and you’ll see why. :)

I was in a semi-large house with a strange guy (roughly 20–30), an older man about 50 I would say (and I had the impression he was a mayor..don’t ask – and I think two of my friends. The older man I guess was showing us around this house. The younger man looked frightened by somthing and kept falling into things you wouldn’t normally fall into and getting hurt in weird ways. Finally, we were all in the last room of the top floor. The mayor guy was showing us something and in the mean time the younger man had yet again fallen into something. This time it was the bare corner of the room. There was nothing for him to have gotten hurt on but when he turned back around to face us, his face was badly cut like someone had taken a knife to his face and made some clean, deep cuts. Blood was streaming down his face and he had a look of terror. I pointed to him and said ‘It’s him! He’s the one doing all of this’. Then his face exploded. And I specifically remember it breaking into 6
pieces. Then the dream ended or was intereupted because I was suddenly woken up by a loud crash. I looked down and this porcelain mask of a face all painted up had fallen. Guess how many pieces. Six.

I’ve put in a coincidence before but I just remembered another one that happened…oh…last October. I was at a friend’s birthday party and I was getting upset because someone that I wanted to have been there wasn’t there. The stereo was on and everyone was dancing but i was sitting on the couch being stubborn and upset and mad. I was wishing ‘Dear GOD make this music stop so no one will dance anymore.’ I know…selfish..but hey I was upset. Then a song came on that reminded me of the person I wanted there. That was the last straw. I was just so mad and upset..about to cry. And I can’t explain but when I look back on when something like this happens, I remember a feeling like something ‘clicked’. But if I try to do it again on purpose it doesn’t work. Sorry I can’t explain it better. But anyway back to the story. Durring that whole song that feeling of something ‘clicking’ was going on. I was focusing on the music entirely. When the song was over, a new song went to play. But then all of a sudden the stereo busted. The rest of the party we had to go without a stereo. I got what I wanted though. No music.

That one was strange. I don’t know whether it was a coincidence or if…well I don’t know but that kind of thing happens to me a lot.

Oh I forgot to mention…haha…the next day me and that person I wanted there got into a BIG fight…We made up but things are still different. We don’t talk anymore. I never told him about what happened that night though.

When I was a young girl, my father used to go on long business trips, and he would write a letter for every day that I was gone. My mother would make sure they were out for me to read each morning. Each had a greeting, a bible verse, something to learn from it, and where he was and how much he loved me. As I grew up, I forgot about these letters.

My father passed away when I was 16, many years after he wrote those precious little notes to me. For Christmas that year, my mother gave me a scrapbook with all the notes she had found, in order. I resolved to read them on the same dates, this coming year. The encouragement in each seemed to be exactly what I needed to hear, each day. This strange (but cool) coincidence continued until I reached my birthday. It seems that, all those years ago, he had needed to miss my birthday. The tears rolled down my face (and are now, even as I write this) as I read,
“I miss you so much, my precious little daughter! I wish I could be there with you now, but God had another plan for my life. Know that I love you, am proud of you, and will always be watching out for you…”

Somehow he had managed to get the message both of us wanted to me, even from heaven.

The greatest coincidence that happened to me so far I experienced in February 2002.

I am originally from Austria, and for half a year now I’ve been working in Frankfurt, Germany. On the particular weekend, my boyfriend had come to visit. We were sitting on a train talking to each other, when a girl who had been sitting near us addressed us. She had recognized our Austrian accent and was happy to tell us she originated from the same area as we did. Before we could exchange names, addresses or anything, however, she had to get off the train. As the train left her station, she waved to us and that was the last thing we saw of her. I felt very sorry for having “lost” her, as it is always great to meet people from home and I would have loved to stay in touch with her.

My boyfriend returned home, I stayed in Frankfurt. About a week later, he told me he had received a strange e-mail. A woman was searching for an old school mate whom she had not seen for years. His name was the same as my boyfriend’s. The woman wrote that she came from our home area but had moved to Frankfurt some years ago.

Although my boyfriend was not the man she was searching for, he wrote a reply, telling her about his personal connection to Frankfurt. In the correspondence that followed he mentioned the girl we had met on the train. The short encounter had for some reason stayed on our minds. When the reply-mail came, we were stunned: It had been her whom we had met on the train!

In addition to the small coincidence of the likeness of my boyfriend’s (very common) name and that of the missing school mate, there is the big coincidence of her writing to my boyfriend of all people carrying that name, thus triggering off the “retrieval” of people who would otherwise hardly have met each other again.

And I’m glad we did. When the girl and I met again for the first time, we immediately realized that there was a special, soul-mate-like relationship between us. She’s become my best friend in a foreign city. I’m starting to feel at home.

I am from a town in Ontario, Canada and moved to a small town in the midwest in Illinois over 25 years ago. I have remained since.

My story starts late in life during my mid 20’s while working at a large manufacturer in my home town. My mother also worked at the same company. She became pals with a women working in the HR department. It happened that this friend [Debbie] had travelled quite a lot to one of the Canadian facilities in Toronto, Canada and had met someone through her travels and fallen in love. A year or so later she announced that she was leaving her position, getting married and moving to Canada. She eventually moved out of Ontario to neighboring Quebec – to a wonderful little town with cobblestone streets. The name of the city escapes me, since this has all taken place over 10 years ago. But it’s an obscure little French-Canadian town. In any case, my mother of course lost touch with her, but Debbie and her family returned to Illinois once or twice a year to visit her immediate family – and my mother always seemed to run into her… [which was in itself..curious since they!
didn’t really move in the same circles…] at the grocery store or the main street. Nothing particularly odd about that. However, the next time that my mother spoke to her, Debbie called her to tell her that an old very dear friend of MINE sent hello’s and good wishes and that she was to make sure I got the message. She of course told my mother all the particulars. Finally, here is the story. My mother came over to my house and told me that the most amazing connection – one that the odds were so unbelievably unbelievable – it was hard to believe. My dear friend Joanne, who was my favorite and best friend through elementary school until I moved at the age of eleven had become not just an acquaintance but a close friend to my mother’s friend Debbie – and stumbled upon the fact that we all knew one another. They attended the same church and committees, had the same interests in the local drama club and one day were talking about where they were from. Debbie told Joanne that she was from a small town in the Midwest in Illinois. Joanne immediately said that one of her old friends, whom she hadn’t seen in years had moved to a little town in Marshall, Illinois and named the company that my father was transferred with. The exact same company that Debbie had worked for and met both of us through. She of course said is it – and said my name. And there you have it. My best friend had become friends with an acquaintance of ours a thousand miles away.

Coincidences happen to me all the time, but this set I never stop thinking about. When I was in high school I fell in love with a classmate, but it was hard for us to get together as he was a different race and our school/neighborhood was particularly racist at the time. In order to break the ice and let me know how he felt about me he gave me a note with the lyrics of a song called “The Drowning Man” by U2. I loved the song and memorized it and we dated for a year and a half. He told me his parents had a son before him that had the same name as him, but the son died when he was a baby. I told him that it was bad luck for his parents to give him the same name as his dead brother. Things got too stressful what with being a teenager and also his mother hated me because I was not the same race as her, he couldn’t take the strain anymore and broke up with me. I saw him about 2 weeks later at the store and he gave me a ride home and on the ceiling of his!
car he taped a poem he wrote. In the poem he talked about being stressed with life and constantly feeling like he was drowning. We saw each other occasionally for the next 4 years, but never fully got back together, until he moved out of his mom’s house and went away to grad school. Then he started calling me and talking to me all the time like when we were seeing each other at the beginning. A couple of months after he moved one of his friends with the same name as him was murdered. Then two months later his roommate died in a car accident. When he came home for Christmas, we finally got back together again, after 4 years of an on-again-off-again relationship. Then 3 months later he drowned. I always think about how that drowning theme would keep coming up when he was making a significant change in his life, and I feel like the drowning motif and the friends dying were foreshadowing to me.
